Multiphase Dryers was founded in May 2022 and builds upon the development started in 2018 within Chardon Engineering BV of a novel drying technology that can be powered using low-grade residual heat or via a “heat recirculating” heat pump.

Our founders are Merlijn Chardon and Jan-Hein van Twist. Both seasoned tech- entrepreneurs in fields ranging from EV batteries to water purification, we’ve developed ourselves into experts of the world of drying circular food ingredients and other perishable biobased resources.

Starting Januari 2024 our main workshop/headquarter is located in Meerlo, at Hogenbos 14 (“Bedrijventerrein Hogenbos”), in the province of Limburg, The Netherlands. An additional workshop is located at the ‘Protein campus Beers’ (Eiwitcampus Beers).
